Nicknames
I based both of our kiddos' names on nicknames. I would love the full name but not the shorter version or vice versa. I literally went through so many good names but passed them up because I didn't like the nickname.
All the nights I laid awake dwelling on their nicknames were pointless because I NEVER call them by their nicknames. It's always Alexander and Olivia (first and middle name if they are in trouble.. I am such a mom:)) I do like the shorter versions of their names but don't really use them. Maybe soon..
One of the main reasons I named Olivia "Olivia" is because I thought Lex and Liv sounded so cute. I do however call them Lex and Liv in texts.
